Here I am measuring one of the smaller "big trucks". If it parked the allowable 18" from the curb, it will be way out in the traffic.

It is 8 ft to the far edge of the mark. DOT (Dept. of Transportation) limit the big rigs that deliver to Mercy to 8' 6" and they can be 18" from the curb, making 10 ft. I understand the city code for commercial is 10ft.
