Monday morning unloading on J St. Mercy has a number of reasons to insist that some of their trucks handle freight here. I just don't agree...........
Some smokers had their picture taken this weekend. This morning this man was smoking in front of our house. We just looked at him and he moved on. I feel sorry for the baby getting 2nd hand smoke.

Countless cars go up and down J St. on any given day and they see patients smoking . One thing Mercy might try is to have an attractive, well spoken volunteer talk to them and pass literature. It would give the message "We are trying" instead of assisting them by getting all their gear ready to travel. Fairly often
