For Thursday July 26th
At 8 pm last night there were 5 people smoking by our home. 3 appeared to be patients. In the background is a patient with a blue gown on sitting in a wheelchair, See below.
The black thing on the left is the ashtray. Every once in a while it catches fire.
When I initially commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I recieve four emails with the exact same comment. Is there an easy method you are able to remove me from that service? Kudos!
Joanie and I live next to Mercy on J St. at the corner of 41st St. Our corner of the world used to be simply located along side the Hospital. Now, it's consumed by trucks, noise, and exhaust since construction began in 2008 on the heart and vascular center.
Since the hospital banned smoking on its campus January 1st 2011. The many smokers have simply moved next to our property. We have lived next to Mercy since 1986, 25 years of relative peace and cooperation until their expansion. As far as I know this is not a temporary situation, but will continue after construction which is due to end in 2013 (?)
